Why Lean Team?

I thought buying is simple but quickly found out it was complex. I decided to combine learning on the job with learning with CIPS to achieve excellence in procurement and my ambition and advancement. My learning journey highlighted a winning formula; a tutor and a study group can make a huge difference in achieving success at the first attempt.

As a result, while pursuing my career as a procurement professional, I developed my own CIPS study centre. My passion for teaching and coaching took over in 2016 and I decided then, to dedicate all my energy to grow Lean Procurement as the leading CIPS Approved Study Centre in Scotland.

My commitment to my students was and is:

· A five-step learning plan tested over a period of twenty years

· A teaching method combining the perspectives of a hands-on practitioner and that of a trained coach in procurement

· 24/7 support during examination preparations

Since then, based on market and client demand, I expanded Lean Procurement offering from just supporting individuals in their procurement development journey to advancing the performance of corporate Supply Chain teams in the U.K. and internationally – procurement performance audits and improvement plans, competency assessments, team training etc.
