CIPS Diploma Level 4 in Procurement and Supply

CIPS Level 4 or Diploma Level qualification

The stage where nearly all CIPS students start from and provides a solid foundation for best practice in procurement and supply.

All that is required to start at the CIPS Diploma, or Level 4, stage is two years’ relevant experience in procurement and supply.

Over the last few years CIPS have made exceptions to the earlier CIPS Graduate Diploma harder to achieve where only accredited degrees are accepted. Typical job titles for Level 4 includes buyer, contracting officer and supply analyst, however those students with procurement supervisor or management roles usually need to also start at Level 4.

Many assume that CIPS Level 4 is an introductory stage, in a way this is true but very quickly you will be going into many concepts and principles in depth.

Out of the three CIPS levels many initially find Level 4 the hardest, mainly because the student has not sat an exam for years. Don’t worry, with our tried and tested ‘Pass Pathway’ methodology we have helped many students overcome their fears and concerns starting out on a new qualification.

All our CIPS courses walk you through from Level 4 right through to Level 6 and MCIPS certification.

The content of CIPS Level 4 is structured to includes the essential learning of procurement and supply chain management.

We talk about what you will learn in our video covering the eight modules at Level 4.
